These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the LetzHalal website. By accessing this site, you agree without reservation to these terms. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use this site.

Nature and Purpose of the Service

LetzHalal is a community information platform listing establishments offering Halal products or services in Luxembourg. This service is provided for informational purposes only. LetzHalal does not make recommendations, does not endorse any listed establishment, and provides no guarantee as to the quality of products or services offered by listed establishments.

Halal Certification Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: LetzHalal is an information platform ONLY. We do NOT certify products or establishments ourselves. We are NOT a Halal certification body.

  • The responsibility for the "Halal" status lies solely with the business owner and/or the certification body mentioned
  • LetzHalal cannot under any circumstances guarantee the Halal character of products or services of any listed establishment
  • Information about certifications is provided by the establishments themselves or by the community and may be inaccurate or outdated
  • LetzHalal cannot be held liable for any misrepresentation, false statement, or fraud by a merchant regarding the Halal status of their products
  • It is the user's responsibility to verify directly with the establishment the current Halal status and the validity of any displayed certification

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Luxembourg law, LetzHalal disclaims all liability regarding:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or currency of published information (opening hours, prices, menus, contact details)
  • The quality, safety, or compliance of products and services provided by listed establishments
  • The availability of products or services advertised by establishments
  • Changes made by establishments without notification to LetzHalal
  • The acts, omissions, or conduct of listed establishments or their employees
  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this site or reliance on published information

In any event, LetzHalal's total liability shall not exceed 100 euros.

Intellectual Property

All elements of the LetzHalal website are protected by intellectual property rights:

  • Database: Database: The compilation, organization, and structure of the directory constitute a database protected under the Luxembourg law of 18 April 2001 on copyright and the European Directive 96/9/EC
  • Logo and trademark: Logo and trademark: The name "LetzHalal", the logo, and associated graphic elements are protected. Any unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited
  • Design: Design and interface: The site's design and user interface are protected by copyright
  • Content: Original content: Texts, descriptions, and content written by the LetzHalal team are protected

Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, or adaptation of all or part of the site elements, by any means or process, is prohibited without prior written authorization from LetzHalal. Any substantial extraction or reuse of the database is prohibited.

User Responsibilities

By using LetzHalal, the user agrees to:

  • Provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information when submitting establishments
  • Only submit content for which they hold the rights or have obtained necessary authorizations
  • Not submit defamatory, offensive, discriminatory content or content contrary to public order
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Luxembourg and the European Union
  • Not attempt to disrupt the site's operation or circumvent its security measures

User-Submitted Content

By submitting content on LetzHalal (establishments, photos, certificates, reviews):

  • You grant LetzHalal a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute this content as part of the service
  • You warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant this license
  • LetzHalal reserves the right to moderate, refuse, or remove any content at its sole discretion

Service Availability

LetzHalal strives to ensure site availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The service may be suspended for maintenance, updates, or any other reason. LetzHalal reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by Luxembourg law. Any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Modifications to Terms

LetzHalal reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Modifications take effect upon publication on the site. Continued use of the site after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms. In case of substantial modifications, users will be notified via a notice on the site.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
